Counselling

The decision of what to do when faced with an unplanned pregnancy can be one of the hardest decisions a woman might have to make in her lifetime. For some women, the decision is clear and straight forward to make, however for others this is not the case. If you are feeling confused about your decision then counselling might help you to work through the issues affecting your decision.

Our staff recognize how difficult this decision can be and aim to help provide a supporting environment. We aim to help answer your questions regarding the operation and its risks. We also encourage you to make your own decision and will guide you to the available services that might help, such as psychologists and support agencies. Counselling is designed to help you explore your options so that you can feel more comfortable with your decision in the future. For a list of community services please visit Patient info: useful links.

If you would like to come and meet with us before the day of your operation for counselling then please call for a counselling appointment on 0397992817 or by using the “contact us” page. This information can be downloaded under section “PATIENT INFO: Forms/downloads -> Counselling.”
