General Women's Health Services

We are pleased to announce the introduction of our "WOMEN'S HEALTH" afternoon. This is held currently on a Monday afternoon and is time set aside for general women's health issues. This will be run by a very experienced rural obstetric general practitioner.

This Doctor has been delivering babies, performing caesarean sections, tubal ligations and IUD insertions, through Seymour Hospital. Relocating to Melbourne he brings with him a vast history of experience. Through this service we will be able to address issues such as abnormal periods, perform pap smears, contraceptive advice and also the insertion of intra uterine devices.

This service will support the already existing services provided on operating days so that our center has medical staff present from Monday to Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm to address any urgent issues (Public Holidays exempt.) If you specifically require a female doctor for examination and insertion of Intra uterine devices please check with the receptionist staff for availability of appointments as this can be organized on one of the other days.
