Based in Melbourne, Victoria HPWH can provide you the information and advice on a range of female contraception options, including the contraceptive pill. If you already have a script for the pill, bring it along and we can show you when to start. Usually, you will start the pill in the same week as the operation.
We are also able to assist with IUDs, Implanon and Depo Provera at the time of the operation if requested. You will have to bring your contraceptive choice with you as prescribed by your family doctor, or else this can be discussed with our doctor and organised prior to the day of your procedure.
At Hampton Park Women’s Health Care, we offer a range of female contraception choices for women to select from. During your initial consultation, the doctor will discuss with you your plans for future contraception and help you determine suitable contraception options if you’re unsure. Alternatively, you might have already decided on the best type of contraception with your own doctor.
We also offer a women’s health service for non-pregnant women who would like to discuss contraception choices or arrange STD checks and pap smears.

Vasectomies for men can also be organised at our clinic.
